We are a family run building business established in East Anglia over 40 years ago, being general building contractors we work on a variety of properties, both old and new, but specialise in the restoration of period timber framed buildings, using traditional methods. Ancient timber framed houses and barns dismantled and re-erected.

Heavily influenced by Medieval, 17th Century and Early British Design, indigenous materials and traditional methods, we try to synthesise our projects with modern technology. Always aiming high the result is a blend of time, past and present - Preservation in Action.

Our sister company Suffolk Reclamation houses probably the largest stock of ancient oak timber in the Country, also offers a wide variety of reclaimed building materials, including period bricks, flagstones, flooring, roof tiles, new oak timber etc.

We hold a large stock of wonderful timber framed buildings (See Period Oak Framed Buildings), which are extremely adaptable and can be used for a multitude of projects from individual houses and extensions to games rooms, the list is endless.

On sympathetic renovation projects we are able to source all the period materials required from our reclamation yard. We also undertake general building work and are pleased to discuss projects of any size, small or large.

We also undertake landscaping projects and supply and erect new oak frame buildings, summerhouses, gazebos bespoke doors, windows, staircases, furniture, etc.
